As a result of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the energy infrastructure of the Zaporizhia region, power outages were recorded in the region. This was announced on July 30 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.

"As a result of an enemy attack on the power system of the Zaporizhia region, we are recording a partial power outage in the region," the Telegram channel says.

Balitsky stressed that experts are taking measures to stabilize the supply of electricity.

On July 24, Alexey Likhachev, the head of the Rosatom State Corporation, said that the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) is currently in a risky energy supply zone. Despite this, he stressed, the NPP remains in a safe condition: the radiation background is normal, and all systems are operating in the "green zone".

On June 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the city market in Energodar. Maxim Pukhov, the mayor of the city, said that two women were seriously injured after the attack on the market. The International Atomic Energy Agency announced the termination of water supply to the Zaporizhia NPP.
