Magyar warned about the shutdown of Paks NPP
Hungarian Paks nuclear power plant will shut down due to low water levels in the Danube. This was announced on July 30 by Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar.
"Emergency declaration and measures. For the first time in 44 years, the entire Paks NPP will be completely shut down due to record low water levels in the Danube," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to him, the first problems with electrical energy may begin as early as Monday.
