The United States imposed sanctions against the Russian company Air Cargo Pro
The United States has expanded the sanctions list to include a Russian company and four other legal entities that, according to the American side, are associated with the Iranian airline Mahan Air. This follows from a press release published on the official website of the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department on July 30.
"The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury Department (OFAC) is adding six organizations and individuals in China, India, Russia and Iran to the sanctions list," the statement said.
According to the published information, the Air Cargo Pro transport company registered in Moscow, as well as four organizations from China, Iran and India, were sanctioned. Restrictive measures were also imposed against one Chinese citizen.
According to the US Treasury Department, all of them allegedly interacted with the Iranian airline Mahan Air, which is already under US sanctions. Entry into the sanctions list provides for the blocking of assets in the United States, and also prohibits American individuals and legal entities from entering into any business relationship with its participants.
On July 29, the United States added 10 legal entities and eight tankers to the Iran sanctions list. The restrictions apply to organizations based in Iran, Hong Kong and the Marshall Islands.
