Roman Vishnyak was interrogated in the Lercek case.

On July 30, the Gagarin Court of Moscow interrogated Roman Vishnyak, the ex-partner of the former Chekalin spouses, as part of the consideration of the case of blogger Lerchek (Valery Chekalin), a source told Izvestia.

In January, Vishnyak was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison in the case of the withdrawal of more than 250 million rubles to the UAE on forged documents.

"Vishnyak testified via video link," the source told Izvestia.

Lercek's case is being considered behind closed doors at the request of her lawyers. On July 30, the court must decide whether to tighten the measure of restraint for the blogger from prohibiting certain actions to house arrest.

According to the materials available to Izvestia, the prosecutor's office requested that the blogger be placed under house arrest due to her violation of the conditions prohibiting certain actions. For example, tickets from Moscow to St. Petersburg and back were purchased using the blogger's personal data. The materials also reported that Chekalina's lawyer received her passport from the investigative body.

In addition, it is clarified that according to information provided by the Blokhin National Research Medical Center of the Russian Ministry of Health, Chekalina may participate in court sessions for health reasons, subject to compliance with doctors' recommendations.
