Nechaev summed up the work of the New People party in the State Duma of the VIII convocation

The development of its own technologies, science and production will become the main areas of further work of the New People Party in the State Duma. This was announced on July 30 by faction leader Alexei Nechaev at the final plenary session of the lower house of the VIII convocation.

Summing up the results of his five-year work, Nechaev recalled that he and his colleagues entered politics with an emphasis on human potential.

"Life has shown, and our work has shown, that a new policy is possible when, indeed, a person, human capital, is more important than oil and gas. Politics, which focuses on a person and his current problems, and, in fact, the future. Because I think that people live in the present, they rely on the past, but, of course, people live in the future, their own, their children, their country. In my opinion, it turned out to keep this agenda," said the chairman of the party.
