Three people died when a minivan collided with a truck in Transbaikalia

In the Olovyanninsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, as a result of a collision between a minivan and a truck, three people were killed and one injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Thursday evening, July 30, on the 3rd km of the highway entrance to the village of Yasnogorsk. According to preliminary data, the 55-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz truck lost control.

The truck drove into the oncoming lane, where it crashed into a Toyota Town Ace minivan. As a result of the collision, three people in the minivan were killed. The driver of the heavy truck with injuries was taken to the Yasnogorskaya CRH, writes IA ChitaMedia.

Judging by the traffic police video from the scene, the truck overturned from the impact, the trailer blocked the roadway. The minivan suffered severe mechanical damage, the body was literally crushed and turned around.

All the circumstances of the fatal car crash are being established.
