The number of earthquake victims in Japan has reached 34 people.
The death toll from a powerful earthquake in the Japanese prefecture of Kumamoto on the island of Kyushu has increased to 34 people. This was reported on July 30 by NHK TV channel with reference to the authorities of the region.
"Kumamoto Prefecture held an emergency response headquarters meeting at 4 p.m. on the 30th and announced that 34 people in the prefecture, including those investigating the disaster, died as a result of this earthquake," the statement said.
