- Liksutov reported on the inspection of 52 routes of the Moscow —Region project before launch
Since the beginning of 2025, specialists from the State Institution "Organizer of Transportation" have examined 52 routes of the Moscow—Region project, checking more than 900 stops before their launch. They checked the condition of stops and pedestrian approaches to them, assessed the readiness of turn-around areas and road infrastructure for bus traffic, and also prepared proposals for its improvement. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, together with the Government of the Moscow Region, we have been launching the routes of the Moscow—Region project for 1 year. Before each launch, employees of the Transportation Organizer, together with employees of the administrations of urban districts of the Moscow region, Mosgortrans and the Moscow Department of Transport, conduct control surveys of the infrastructure and propose solutions. For example, experts have already examined more than 900 bus stops, of which over 670 are located in the Moscow region. Such measures become the starting point for improving the infrastructure, launching larger class buses and increasing the comfort and safety of trips," Maxim Liksutov said.
In total, experts examined 74 stops in Dolgoprudny, 150 in Krasnogorsk, 18 in Krasnoznamensk, 176 in Khimki, 106 in Mytishchi, 114 in Odintsovo city district, 24 in Solnechnogorsk and 11 in Vlasikha. Inspections are continuing on the routes that are planned to be included in the project in the future.
In 2026, it is planned to integrate more than 50 existing suburban routes into the Moscow transport system. For their maintenance, over 500 modern buses of various capacities have been purchased, which will operate both in new directions and on existing routes of the Moscow — Region project.
