"On Wednesday, President Trump met with Saudi Arabia's Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman," according to a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to him, the Saudi minister conveyed to the head of the White House a message from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud regarding the conflict with Iran and the escalation in the region.

The Central Command of the US Armed Forces reported on July 28 that the United States and Saudi Arabia launched targeted strikes against groups associated with Iran in the eastern part of Iraq. It was noted that during the operation, the fighters of the two countries hit several logistics and weapons facilities. The strikes were in response to more than 30 drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps over the past three days.
