Calculation of the self-propelled gun "Gvozdika" destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

The calculation of the Gvozdika self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the control points of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 30.

According to the agency, operators of reconnaissance drones of the troops of the Vostok group's unmanned systems have discovered several control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These positions were used by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and equipment for conducting reconnaissance and strike operations.

The coordinates of the detected objects were transferred to the artillery calculation of the Gvozdika self-propelled guns of the Marine Corps unit of the Vostok group. After preparing the position, the crew moved to the area of the firing task, while its actions were provided by aerial surveillance equipment and a drone counteraction unit.

"It is reported that the position is ready. The calculation is put forward on the equipment in a given square to the prepared position. With all this, aerial surveillance posts are involved...> The work is ongoing," said the commander of the crew with the call sign Abas.

As a result of the strike, five AFU UAV control points were destroyed, along with operators and specialists from UAV units.

The unmanned boat has already escorted assault groups, mined the riverbed and can carry up to 100 kg of explosives.

On July 29, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces had bombed the Ukrainian Armed Forces command post in the Kherson region. It was noted that the control point of the 144th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became the target in the village of Tyaginka, Kherson region. FAB-500 aerial bombs with a unified planning and correction module were used for the strike.
