The Ukrainian Air Force has lost another F-16 fighter.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost another American F-16 fighter jet due to an emergency situation on board. This was reported on July 29 in the press service of the AFU Air Force.

"On July 29, 2026, communication with the F-16 fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was lost. In one of the directions of the front, the pilot was performing a combat mission to intercept air targets," the Telegram channel said.

The ministry clarified that the pilot had decided to eject. He was evacuated from the scene and hospitalized.

Specialists and law enforcement officers are working at the crash site. The circumstances and causes of the incident are being investigated.
