On July 29, the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) announced the redirection of 20 commercial vessels as part of the blockade of Iran.

"As of July 29, CENTCOM has redirected 20 commercial vessels, disabled two and boarded two vessels," a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It clarifies that the United States does not deviate from strict compliance with the blockade of Iran imposed by the country.

On July 28, the CENTCOM press service reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired missiles towards the deployment of the US military in the Middle East.

NBC News reported on July 26 that the US military is not trying to intercept all Iranian missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, which is why individual attacks reach their intended targets.
