Almost 30 water intake units have been built and reconstructed in the TiNAO in 14 years

Over the past 14 years, 26 water intake units have been reconstructed and built in TiNAO. This was announced on Wednesday, July 29, by Pyotr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Landscaping.

According to him, after the annexation of the new territories, specialists conducted an inventory of water supply systems, identified problematic facilities and began their modernization. The work covered the districts of Vnukovo, Filimonkovsky, Shcherbinka, Krasnopakhorsky, Bekasovo, Voronovo and Troitsk.

Biryukov noted that when organizing the water supply of settlements, priority is given to connecting to the Moscow water supply instead of using underground sources. In 14 years, 22 water intake units have been transferred to Moscow water. Where this is not possible, modern water treatment plants are being installed, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

The Deputy Mayor stressed that the systematic modernization of the water infrastructure makes it possible to provide residents of TINAO with reliable and high-quality water supply.
