Sobyanin spoke about the implementation of the Moscow transport electrification program

In Moscow, the 3,000th electric bus of domestic production entered the line, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. The electric bus will operate on route No. 119 Kievsky Railway Station — Nagornaya metro station, which connects the west, southwest and south of Moscow.

According to the mayor, Moscow continues to implement Russia's largest land transport electrification program, which was launched in 2018. "An important aspect is that the machines are manufactured in Russian factories, and their components are manufactured by enterprises in different regions of the country,— Sobyanin said in his channel in Maks. "This has a huge positive impact on the economy and the quality of life in Russian regions."

According to the mayor, it is planned to supply over 2.3 thousand more innovative Russian cars by 2030, after which the share of electric buses in the Mosgortrans fleet will exceed 85%. All electric buses are supplied with a warranty, and their maintenance under life cycle contracts is carried out for 15 years, the mayor added.

In early July, Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, announced that in ten years the number of accidents caused by Mosgortrans drivers had halved. "For its high achievements in the field of safety and efficiency of transportation, Rostransnadzor has awarded Mosgortrans a reputational status, indicating conscientious compliance with mandatory requirements. We were the first to receive it in the Central Federal District," said the Vice Mayor.

According to Liksutov, to improve the safety of travel, Mosgortrans regularly updates its rolling stock. Under the contracts of 2025, more than 900 modern Russian buses and electric buses were delivered to the company's fleets. All cars undergo a mandatory pre-trip technical inspection.
