Blogger Marmeladova was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for distributing pornography

Sex blogger Sonya Marmeladova (real name Sofya Vershinina) was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison. This was reported on July 29 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Moscow Meshchansky court.

The girl is accused of distributing pornography through a closed paid channel. According to the investigation, she earned about 30 million rubles from her provocative videos and photos in 2026 alone. With these funds, the blogger bought an apartment in Moscow City and bought branded items.

Marmeladova was detained on the morning of July 28 in Moscow. According to the incriminated article, she faces up to six years in prison.

The case of Diana Shurygina. Why was the blogger put under house arrest?

On June 16, the court chose a preventive measure for blogger Diana Shurygina in the form of house arrest until July 19. The girl is charged under Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal production and trafficking of pornographic materials or objects"). Later, the detention was extended until August 19.

On June 17, Izvestia was convinced in a dialogue with the seller that the sale of access to paid content under the name of Shurygina continues, despite the girl's being under house arrest. It was noted that the talk show star had not stopped selling subscriptions to a closed Telegram channel.
