- A zebra will appear under the cable-stayed bridge on Belinsky Street in Krasnoyarsk.
The construction of a pedestrian crossing under a cable-stayed bridge on Belinsky Street has started in Krasnoyarsk. Sergey Vereshchagin, the mayor of the city, spoke about the progress of the work on his social networks.
"Krasnoyarsk residents have repeatedly drawn attention to the fact that pedestrians are unsafe under the bridge: they have to run across the road. Accidents were also caused by transport," said the mayor.
According to him, workers have now begun laying a zebra crossing and a safety island under the structure in the area of Constitution Street of the USSR.
According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the angle of the rotary gateway will also be changed so that drivers can immediately enter their lane without unnecessary maneuvers.
Earlier it was reported that Krasnoyarsk expanded the list of roads that need repair. 245.7 million rubles will be allocated from the city budget for these purposes.
