Polish Defense Minister rules out the possibility of a Russian attack on the country

Forecasts indicate that Russia has no desire to attack Poland. This was announced on July 29 by the Minister of Defense of the Republic Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.

"There are no forecasts of such an attack on Poland," he stated in an interview with RMF24 radio station.

The head of the Polish Defense Ministry clarified that security in the Baltic Sea is now considered a "key issue" for Warsaw, just like for the entire NATO. This territory, as he explained, is extremely important.

On July 22, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov once again stressed that Russia has no plans to attack Europe. Then he recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin had repeatedly tried to convey the same message to the leaders of foreign countries. The head of the Russian foreign ministry drew attention to the fact that the same European Union, amid concerns, even stopped paying attention to the socio-economic well-being of its countries.

On July 12, Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Affairs at the Russian Foreign Ministry, indicated Moscow's readiness for dialogue with NATO. At the same time, he stressed that it is important to take into account national interests and principles of ensuring international security during such contacts.
