Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attacked an apartment building in Kursk
A Ukrainian drone struck an apartment building in the Kursk microdistrict, injuring a young man. This was announced on July 29 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.
Currently, all employees of the operational services are at the scene of the emergency, the territory is cordoned off, the sappers have started work. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly evacuated all the tenants of the apartments.
"Unfortunately, there is a victim: a 26-year—old man has a thermal burn, he received first aid on the spot," Khinstein said in the Maks messenger.
Another drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) crashed into the territory of an apartment building on Pobedy Avenue. Specialists are also working to neutralize the device.
A day earlier, Alexander Ermakov, a volunteer of the BARS-Kursk brigade, died in the Kursk region while protecting civilians from drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Khinstein said that at BARS, the man worked as a driver of a reconnaissance platoon, was part of a mobile firing group and repelled enemy attacks from the air. The head of the region expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased, calling Ermakov's death a huge tragedy.
