The situation in the Russian fuel market remains difficult, but the relevant department is fully in control of it. This was announced on July 29 by Pavel Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.

According to him, the authorities have a clear idea of which regions have difficulties with providing fuel. This allows the relevant services to quickly eliminate the problems that arise.

"The situation is now under full control. That is, we clearly understand in which places and in which regions difficulties arise, and we solve them promptly," Sorokin said after a meeting of the fuel headquarters led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Sorokin clarified that for effective monitoring, the relevant headquarters meets twice a week at the level of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak. Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev is also involved in the work almost on a daily basis.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the priority area of work at the moment is the supply of fuel for agricultural producers. In addition, the agency plans to provide additional volumes of fuel for the regions of Siberia and the Far East.

Novak on July 25 pointed to the stabilization of fuel in Russia. According to him, the oil companies supply all the necessary volumes. However, the situation remains difficult in some regions, especially in Siberia. Despite this, in his opinion, the difficulties associated with fuel are temporary.
