Rising rivers and overflowing roads are expected in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a significant rise of four rivers was recorded — the Us, Oya, Kebezh and Kazyr. Over the past day, the water level has increased from 30 to 130 cm due to heavy rains, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

As of Wednesday morning, July 29, on the Kebezh River near the village of Grigoryevka, the water level reached 258 cm at a dangerous mark of 310 cm. The water has reached the floodplain.

On the Oya River near the village of Ermakovskaya, the water level rose to 217 cm at a dangerous mark of 310 cm. Flooding of the floodplain is also observed, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Forecasters predict new precipitation in the southern districts from July 29 to July 31. Further rise of the rivers and the release of water to the floodplain is expected. There is a threat of flooding of low-lying areas, vegetable gardens, dachas and the occurrence of overflows on roads.
