The Russian Embassy in Thailand told about the search for the Nazimov brothers and sisters

The Embassy is aware of the mysterious disappearance of two Russians near Pattaya — the Nazimov brothers and sisters — and is in contact with law enforcement agencies on this issue. Representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission in the kingdom told Izvestia about this on July 29.

"The Russian Embassy in Thailand is aware of the situation with Russian citizens Roman Alekseevich Nazimov, born on 02.10.2008, and Diana Egorovna Nazimova, born on 14.11.2003, who disappeared in the vicinity of Pattaya (Chonburi Province)...> We are in close contact with Thai law enforcement agencies," they said in a statement.

It is noted that now the staff of the diplomatic department is assisting in the search for fellow citizens, which involves volunteers and the police. So, during the search operation, a motorcycle was found, on which the missing were seen at the moment when they last left the house. It was dug up and was in a disassembled state.

Now, as it is emphasized, a local resident is being questioned in the case, who may have witnessed an attempt to hide this vehicle. The embassy does not have any other information about the case at the moment.

The missing Russians became known a day earlier. Their mother stated that the incident occurred on July 26. On that day, 22-year-old Diana and 17-year-old Roman went on a motorcycle to an unknown destination, and then stopped contacting.

Surveillance cameras captured how the brother and sister were accompanied by another suspicious motorcyclist all the time, and then completely captured the moment when the young people found themselves in the company of two strangers. Locals associate the route where these events took place with the route that transports people to fraudulent call centers. It was clarified that at 04:26 a.m. (00:26 Moscow time), the girl managed to write a message "URGENT!" ("URGENT!").

The Siamchon News portal learned on July 28 that the participants of the search operation managed to find the brother and sister's motorcycle. He was found in a canal in the Huai Yai area.
