The expert spoke about the changing dependencies of zoomers

The withdrawal of zoomers from drugs and alcohol led to the transformation of the spectrum of addictions. Clinical psychologist Sergey Volkov emphasized this in an interview with Izvestia.

When will they be able to do this and why did the State Duma support such measures?

"According to statistics, zoomers hardly drink or smoke. But the consumption of vapes and alternative forms of nicotine—containing products among young people is at a higher level than among representatives of other generations," the source said.

At the same time, he pointed out that the consequences for the body from "steam rooms" and their chemical composition are very severe.

"Energy drinks have become the main alternative to alcohol, which also raise concerns about the health of those who use them," the expert stressed.

The specialist also added that these drinks are officially non—alcoholic products, which means that they are not statistically related to dependent agents.

"However, young people consume them in almost liters, which leads to catastrophic consequences for the heart and nervous system and causes dependence on energy drinks," explained Volkov.
