Zakharova called the holding of the Vaikule festival in Jurmala hypocrisy

The music festival of Latvian singer Laima Vaikule in Jurmala is hypocrisy, as its organizers continue to use the project created in the USSR, while criticizing the Soviet past. This was announced on July 29 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Look at the lies! What hellish hypocrisy! Just admit it once: [before] there was a good festival, we did it with pleasure. And they haven't invented anything else," she said on Sputnik radio.
