President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with US President Donald Trump without the press because he was afraid that this meeting would once again turn into a scandal. This was announced on July 29 by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou.

"We know what happened the last time they met in the Oval Office, and it was open to the media. Last time, everything went completely wrong as planned, and the meeting was attended by journalists. Therefore, the meeting has now been moved to a closed mode," he said in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
