In Moscow, as part of the "Summer in Moscow" project, residents and guests of the capital can attend free outdoor sports classes. This was announced on July 29 on the official Internet portal of the capital. mos.ru .
The program includes morning exercises, as well as professional padel and wushu workouts. Participants can choose a convenient format — attend a "Sports Weekend" in one of the parks, master paddling under the guidance of an instructor, or sign up for classes as part of the My Sports District project. All events are free of charge.
Padel playgrounds have been opened in the capital near the Barrikadnaya, Tretyakovskaya and Rimskaya metro stations. The courts are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00. Changing rooms and recreation areas are equipped on each site, stylish photo zones and art objects are installed. Inventory — balls and rackets — is provided free of charge, and professional instructors are invited to help master the game.
The My Sports District project invites everyone from the age of six to attend free wushu classes. To participate, you must register in advance by choosing a place, date and time. It is recommended to come to the training 5-10 minutes before the start. Classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 19:00 at 14 venues in various districts of Moscow, including Krasnogvardeisky Ponds Park, Muzeon Art Park, Tagansky Children's Park, Hermitage Garden, Olympic Village Park, Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park, Berezovaya Roscha Park, Sviblovo Park.", Goncharovsky Park, Lyublinsky Park, Kolomenskoye Museum Reserve, Zyuzino Park, Friendship Park and a playground on Ratnaya Street.

After registration, a QR code appears in your personal account, which must be shown before class. Online lessons are available for those who want to study at home.
The Sports Weekend project was launched in 2020 by the Moscow Department of Sports in cooperation with the My Documents Public Services Centers. According to the organizers, the main theme of "Summer in Moscow" this year is "Time to be together." The project unites people of different generations and allows them to become closer to their families and the city during walks, cultural and sports events, and charity events in all districts of the capital.
On July 22, voting on the Summer in Moscow project ended in Active Citizen. Users shared their opinions about the most interesting events and venues of the third season, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina. The most anticipated event of the summer was the Theater Boulevard Festival. In second place is the Moscow Manor Festival, which brought together 77 venues. Among the new locations are the All—Russian Museum of Decorative Arts, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the Moskino Film Park.
