The captain of the French national team, forward Kylian Mbappe, reacted on July 28 to the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as head coach of the national team.
"Welcome home," the football player wrote, posting a photo of the coach in the story on the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
Zidane's last job was at Real Madrid, which he led from 2016 to 2018 and from 2019 to 2021. Under his leadership, the Madrid club won the Champions League three times, and also won the championship and the Spanish Super Cup twice.
