In Thailand, the search continues for two Russians who disappeared in the resort Pattaya. Natives of the Tyumen region, 22-year-old Diana and her 17-year-old brother Roman disappeared after leaving home on a motorcycle on the morning of July 26. This was reported by the local newspaper Khaosod on July 28.

The young men were captured by surveillance cameras about 300 m from their place of residence, after which their further route could not be determined. The CCTV footage shows that they were followed by a suspicious motorcycle. Before disappearing, Diana sent her mother a message that caused her alarm.

According to the mother of Diana and Roman, Zarina Nazimova, the young men were later spotted on cameras in the area of Highway 7 along with two unknown men. According to local residents, this section of the road is associated with the transportation of people to neighboring countries, where fraudulent call centers operate. The volunteers admit that the Russians could have been victims of abduction or attempted deportation outside Thailand, but there is no official confirmation of this version yet.

According to the mother of the missing, on the morning of July 26, the children left on a motorcycle without warning. After a few minutes, the GPS on the phone indicated the last location near the Bristol apartment complex, after which the devices stopped transmitting data. In addition, the police reported that the missing Russians were being chased by a motorcyclist all the time.

Before she disappeared, Diana told her mother that she felt like she was being watched. In addition, an unknown Bluetooth tracker was found on her phone, which could be used to track her location.

The last message from the girl arrived at 4:26 a.m. and contained only the word "URGENT!" ("URGENT!"). After that, the connection with her stopped. The mother contacted the Pattaya police, and law enforcement officers began checking the circumstances of the disappearance.

A Russian woman died on July 3 as a result of falling from the eighth floor of an apartment building on Phuket Island in Thailand. Her husband, who was at the scene with a one-year-old child, told investigators that shortly before the incident there had been an argument between them, after which his wife left the apartment and did not return.
