In Yakutia, the consequences of a rain flood are being eliminated on the federal highway R-504 Kolyma. Traffic on the section from the village of Teply Klyuch to the village of Ust-Nera has remained closed since July 26.

This is due to a security threat, writes IA YakutiaMedia with reference to the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs "Vilyu".

As of Tuesday, July 28, cleaning is carried out in all areas with mudflow. In some places, water overflow and partial destruction of approaches to bridges were recorded. It is not yet possible to carry out full-fledged repairs and re-fill the roads due to the high water level.

In addition, the weather remains unstable in the area of the Kolyma highway. Drivers are asked to postpone trips until travel is restored.

On July 23, it was reported that a city beach in Yakutsk was partially submerged. This was due to heavy rainfall and a sharp rise in water in the Lena River. Wooden decking for vacationers and rescue towers appeared in the water. This is the only officially operating beach in the city. In Yakutia, a difficult flood situation has been recorded in several districts.

An emergency mode was introduced in the village of Saydy in the Aeginsky Nasleg in the Verkhoyansky district. The reason is the sudden rise of water in the Bytantai River. 48 yards were flooded, including 31 residential buildings. A high-alert regime has been in effect in Nasleg since July 20. On July 23, the water began to flood the plots. The authorities have decided to introduce an emergency regime.
