Liksutov spoke about the launch of new routes "Moscow — region"
Four new routes of the Moscow—Region project have been operating since July 25. Buses run from the stations of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya metro line to Putilkovo, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow government for transport and Industry.
"According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, together with the government of the Moscow Region, we continue to expand the network of suburban routes of the Moscow —Region project. We have developed and launched new routes to Putilkovo, one of the most densely populated points in the Moscow region," Liksutov said.
A month ago, a route to the Zamoskvoretskaya metro line and the MCD was launched from here, the Department of Transport of the capital recalled. A total of five routes connect Putilkovo with four stations of two metro lines, as well as with the Moscow Ring Road, the deputy mayor emphasized.
"There are 40 modern large—class buses of Russian production operating on the lines, obtained as part of a large-scale purchase of vehicles of various capacity classes," Liksutov said.
Modern NefAZ 5299-40-52 large class buses were launched on routes 1280, 1288, 1696 and 1699. Previously, the technology has successfully proven itself on urban routes: about 2 thousand buses operate in the fleets of Mosgortrans. Another 233 vehicles of this model will be delivered this year.
In total, by agreement between the governments of Moscow and the Moscow Region, in 2026 it is planned to include more than 50 operating suburban routes in the western, north-western, northern and north-eastern directions in the Moscow transport system. Moscow transport standards will be implemented on these routes: convenient and predictable bus travel intervals, convenient schedules, modern rolling stock and professional drivers.
For the operation of the routes, more than 500 modern buses of various capacity classes were purchased: medium, large, and large suburban. These buses will be available both on new routes planned for launch this year and on the routes of the Moscow—Region project, launched last year.
