Only one in three residents of the United States supports an armed conflict with Iran. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on July 28.

The survey was conducted among 1,248 U.S. adults from July 24 to July 26. As specified, this was the lowest figure since the beginning of the five-month conflict. According to the survey, 69% of Americans consider the goals of the conflict around the Islamic Republic to be unclear.

The publication notes that the war with Iran has provoked a sharp increase in the cost of gasoline in the United States. This was a blow to the financial situation of many Americans.

On July 27, US President Donald Trump announced that he had disagreements with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the military operation in Iran. According to the US president, the strikes on Iran were stopped on Friday after two weeks of attacks. CNN reported on July 23 that Roman Hoffman, head of the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad, held meetings with senior representatives of the American leader's administration during a visit to Washington two weeks ago.
