Namin accused his stepson of trying to shift the blame for the double murder to his mother.

Rock musician Stas Namin accused his stepson Roman Tkachenko, whom he disowned after the murder of his son and mother-in-law, of trying to blame his mother for what he had done. This was confirmed on July 28 by documents reviewed by TASS.

"About the events that happened to him (Namin. It became known from the words of his ex—wife, who also said that after arriving at his mother's house, Tkachenko attacked her from behind, grabbed her by the neck, causing her to lose consciousness. After she regained consciousness, Tkachenko told her that she had killed her son and mother and hanged herself, to which she spent several hours persuading him to give her the opportunity to bury her loved ones, as a result of which Tkachenko himself called the police, remaining calm," the case file says.
