Dmitriev hinted at the financial crisis in the United States with a shot from the "Short Game"

Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, admitted on July 27 the possibility of financial problems in the US economy.

Dmitriev posted on the social network X (ex. Twitter) GIF image with a fragment of the movie "The Short Game", which depicts American investor Michael Bury.

The publication was a response to a message with a heat map of the American stock market, where all stocks were in the decline zone. The film "The Short Game" is dedicated to the story of investors who predicted in advance the collapse of the US mortgage market and the global financial crisis of 2008.
