The new owners demolished Mikhail Zadornov's famous house in Jurmala. This was announced on July 27 by a source of Izvestia.

A two-storey cottage now stands on the site of the satirist's former "ancestral estate".

The new owners also changed the address of the site: previously it was listed as Bulduru prospects 95/2, now it is simply 95. The owners paid extra for the change of address, the source said. It is noted that the address of Jurmala, Bulduru prospects 95 exists in the state register of Latvia, no companies are registered to it — this is a private residential area.
