Peskov said about the protracted nature of the information war against Russia

The information war against Russia will most likely never end. This was announced on July 27 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at the Territory of Meanings forum.

"The information war, most likely, it will never end, we need to be aware of this," Peskov said.

Peskov stressed the need to develop their own information platforms and non-linear solutions that will allow them to convey the Russian point of view to the whole world, bypassing the dominant distribution technologies. He also pointed to the technological front of the work: information algorithms, satellite networks, the Internet and repeaters.

The Kremlin representative noted that today one person can actually turn into a media outlet thanks to available technologies, and called for using this opportunity to counter fakes. However, it will become increasingly difficult to deal with them as they become more technologically advanced and destructive, and the technologies that allow them to be detected will always lag one step behind the creators.

Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea, reported on June 17 about the enemy's attempts to carry out an information attack: fake documents, videos and fake orders from the authorities were distributed on social networks, as well as dates for alleged strikes were set in order to intimidate the population with threats of famine and transport collapse. Kryuchkov urged residents to observe information hygiene, filter messages and trust only official sources, warning about the multitude of clones of Crimean information resources.
