The daughter of the honored builder of the Russian Federation has accused the scandalous Moscow notary Alexander Fedorchenko of involvement in a criminal scheme involving the theft of about $ 30 million from her father. This was confirmed on July 27 by documents in the possession of Izvestia.

The woman claims that the notary issued several powers of attorney on behalf of her sick father at a time when he was in intensive care and did not realize what was happening. According to the applicant, a Ukrainian citizen participated in the scheme, who got a man drunk in order to take over his property — in the spring of 2019, he was hospitalized in a serious condition in a metropolitan hospital.

During this period, Fedorchenko, using a hand—held device, issued a power of attorney on behalf of the pensioner to her brother - with her help, $19.6 million was written off from the man's account. Later, the notary issued another document stating that the pensioner trusted his daughter to manage his property.

"The man, being in intensive care in a state of deep deafness, could neither speak nor read, much less consciously express his will. Nevertheless, notary Fedorchenko certified the powers of attorney, effectively legalizing the withdrawal of multimillion—dollar assets," lawyer Alexander Zorin told Izvestia.

The woman explained that her brother had deceived her, convincing her to transfer all the property to him. The relative claimed that this was the will of their father, and assured that after his discharge he would return the property back. The applicant estimated the total value of the alienated property at at least $10 million.

The woman decided to bring the notary, her brother and their accomplices to justice only seven years later — according to her, the fact of drawing up any powers of attorney was denied by her father himself. Now she demands the initiation of a criminal case and the seizure of real estate.

Fedorchenko's last name appeared in a number of questionable real estate transactions. Some of them became the subject of attention of law enforcement agencies, and criminal cases were initiated against individual participants. At the same time, the notary himself managed to avoid responsibility for a long time. According to Zorin, the notary was directly involved in a fraudulent scheme to defraud World War II veteran Nikolai Kizyun, who was forced to give up his apartment.

On September 18, 2025, the UK recognized Kizyun as a victim in a criminal case of fraud involving a notary. The veteran's lawyer added that Fedorchenko's inaction led to the fact that the veteran's signature was fraudulently obtained and a deed of gift for his housing was issued.

On October 7, 2025, lawyer Zorin informed Izvestia that the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow had satisfied the veteran's claim. The court recognized the veteran as accepting the inheritance. At the same time, the defendants returned Kizyun's money voluntarily.

Fedorchenko's apartment was searched on March 13. The UK drew attention to the high-profile deal involving Fedorchenko, which resulted in the injury of a WWII veteran. It turned out that the documents signed by the veteran turned out to be a waiver of the inheritance, which included three apartments, a house, a car and bank accounts. The organizer of this fraud was Fedorchenko.
