The driver of an oil-pumping car was killed when hitting a heating main in Komsomolsk

In Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk Territory), one person was killed and one injured as a result of a suction truck hitting a heating main. This is reported by the city Traffic Police.

The incident occurred on the night of July 27 in the area of house 3 on Radishchev Street. It was previously established that the 36-year-old driver exceeded the speed limit, special equipment "MAZ TKM" flew off the roadway and crashed into the pavilion of the heating station.

As a result of the collision, there was a "rush of hot water supply", boiling water hit the cabin. The driver, who fell under pressure, died on the spot, his 44-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries, IA AmurMedia writes.

An inspection has been organized. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.
