Renovation of the M. I. Glinka College has begun in Novomoskovsk
In Novomoskovsk (Tula region), the building of the M. I. Glinka College of Music began to be put in order. This is reported by the press service of the municipality administration.
The renovation started with the renovation of the facade — the walls are being prepared and painted. The building will get a fresh look, but at the same time it will retain its classic architectural appearance.
Work is also taking place inside the facility, TSN 24 writes. Builders are updating four classrooms, kitchen facilities in the dormitory and information support for the visually impaired.
The college building was built in 1956. Years later, the educational institution remains a creative forge for hundreds of musicians.
Earlier it was reported that the State Duma proposed to launch a state program for the renovation of cultural and leisure facilities. Most of these facilities are owned by the municipality, but local budgets often cannot cover the cost of major repairs.
