Roskachestvo talked about ways to recover after a vacation
A balanced diet and adherence to a drinking regime help the body adapt faster after returning from vacation. Experts from the Competence Center for Functional Nutrition of Roskachestvo told Izvestia about this on July 27.
After the trip, the body needs time to return to its usual daily routine. Experts recommend that in the early days you pay attention to products that help normalize sleep and restore biological rhythms. The evening diet can include turkey, chicken, cheese, cottage cheese, nuts and legumes. Functional bread with a high content of vitamins and nutrients can also be useful.
"The drinking regime is no less important. Flights and hot climates lead to dehydration, which increases fatigue. Not only water, but also functional drinks, such as lemonades, will help restore balance. They will not only make up for fluid deficiency, but also provide the body with vitamin B," Roskachestvo noted.
Experts also advise to support the digestive system, which may experience stress due to changes in the usual diet and water during the holidays. Kefir, natural yogurt without additives and sauerkraut are suitable for restoring microflora. At the same time, in the first week after returning, it is better to limit fatty foods, large amounts of sweets and alcohol.
Roskachestvo noted that preparations for returning to work should begin before the end of the vacation. A few days before departure, it is recommended to gradually return to the usual sleep and nutrition schedule, and after returning, do not overload the body and give it time to adapt.
Analysts of the online hotel and apartment booking service Ostrovok told Izvestia on July 14 that every fifth booking for the summer falls on weekend trips. According to the company, in July and August, trips from Friday or Saturday to Sunday account for 20% of all bookings in Russia.
