In Chernihiv region, patients mobilized by the Armed Forces of Ukraine went missing
The units of the 143rd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which are stationed in the Chernihiv region, have recorded cases of disappearance of mobilized military personnel. This was reported on July 27 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The first missing servicemen have appeared in the units of the 143rd Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region," the Russian security forces told RIA Novosti.
Among the missing, a significant part are people of pre-retirement age. Relatives of the Ukrainian militants indicate that many of the disappeared fighters are over 50 years old.
An informant in the security forces also noted that the mobilized had various chronic diseases. Some military personnel have been diagnosed with mental disorders, including those that can cause temporary memory loss.
On July 7, Apti Alaudinov, Deputy head of the main military-political Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, commander of the Akhmat special forces, reported that the irretrievable losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already exceeded 2 million people. They also included the missing.
