FC Lokomotiv drew with Akhmat in the first round of the Russian Premier League

Moscow football club (FC) Lokomotiv drew with Akhmat Grozny in the first round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The meeting at the Russian Railways Arena on July 26 ended with a score of 1:1.

The hosts took the lead in the eighth minute thanks to Zelimkhan Bakayev's goal, but they could not hold the advantage. In the 83rd minute, the score was equalized by Erald Maksuti. At the end of the match, defender Georgy Dzhikiya made his debut for Lokomotiv, who joined the team as a free agent in the summer.

In the second round, Lokomotiv will play away against Dynamo Makhachkala on August 1, and Akhmat will host Spartak Moscow a day later.
