Rock Islands and Jukebox Trio became headliners of the "Race of Heroes" in Mendeleevsk

After the fifth anniversary "Race of Heroes" in Mendeleevsk, a big rock concert with the participation of famous bands will be held on July 25.

The headliner of the evening will be the Rock Islands band. The band celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and its repertoire includes many favorite songs and hits. The audience will hear both "White Snow" and the legendary "Say Nothing."

"The heroes will finish to the sounds of our band, we will play, sing together and be charged with positivity," said Vladimir Zakharov, the lead singer of the band.

Jukebox Trio, The Mood, Kazan band Zhivago (a combination of folklore with electronica and rock) and the brass band JUST BRASS will also perform on stage. The head of the Mendeleevsky district, Robert Iskandarov, stressed that the tradition of a rock concert after the race has been gathering an entire stadium for several years.

Yuri Razbezhkin, Deputy General Director of Ammonium JSC, added that the guests will be greeted by Mariachi — Mexican musical ensembles in costumes and sombreros, which corresponds to the concept of "From Dawn to Dusk."

Earlier that day, the fifth anniversary "Race of Heroes" in the "From dawn to Dusk" format started in Mendeleevsk. The track, which has more than 40 obstacles, is decorated in a Mexican theme this year in honor of the 30th anniversary of the film "From Dusk till Dawn." Some of the obstacles are devoted to the culture of the peoples of Russia. Helicopters, trams and locomotives were delivered to the highway. The race includes a corporate championship with a prize pool and competitions for costumed platoons. A rock concert will end the day.
