A Romanian F-16 fighter jet shot down a second drone that violated the airspace. This was announced on July 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the country.

"Two F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters of the Romanian Air Force, which are part of the combat service of the air police, intercepted an aerial target and performed standard procedures for identification and neutralization [of UAVs]," the agency said in a statement on the social network X.

It is specified that radar systems have detected unauthorized entry into the national airspace in the border area with Ukraine.
