The Estonian authorities conceal information about Ukrainian drones appearing in the country's airspace in order to avoid panic among the population. This was announced on July 25 by Kamran Abilov, Charge d'affaires of Russia in Tallinn.

"Despite the attempts of the Estonian authorities to present the situation as an "inevitable cost" <...>, it is possible to prevent an uncontrolled increase in panic among the population only by suppressing information on this topic," the diplomat said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The authorities of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania had previously stated that they had not given Kiev consent to use their airspace to attack Russian targets.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said on July 4 that Latvia and other Baltic countries had already provided air corridors for attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian territory. He stressed that Moscow records all decision-making points about provocations against Russian citizens and infrastructure, as well as all points where drones are manufactured and launched into the territory of the Russian Federation, regardless of the jurisdiction of these places.
