A tanker in the Gulf of Oman was attacked by the United States due to suspicions of transporting Iranian gas. As a result of the impact, two people died. This was announced on July 24 by the IRIB State Television and Radio Company.

"The US Army fired two missiles at a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker that was heading from the Sea of Oman to the region. The US military attacked the ship, mistakenly believing that it was carrying Iranian gas. As a result of the attack, two crew members were killed," the Telegram channel said.
