Circumstances of the attack

On Friday morning, the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had launched a missile attack on an industrial enterprise in Kirov. The authorities did not specify which one.

Later, the head of the region added that six people were killed in the impact. Another 26 were injured, and 12 people were hospitalized in Kirov hospitals. Due to the attack, a fire broke out at the enterprise, and rescuers have already eliminated it. Specialists continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

Sokolov also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. The government of the Kirov region will support them.

Elimination of consequences

Due to a missile strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Fileyka area in Kirov, there were interruptions in electricity and water supply. Operational services managed to restore the supply. Specialists are conducting a survey of nearby residential buildings to decide on possible assistance to their residents.

The company itself reported that some of the space and goods in the warehouses were saved thanks to the actions of employees. There are no casualties among the employees of the logistics centers.

In addition, according to the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, the collapse of structures of one of the warehouses of the Severnaya poultry farm in the village of Sinyavino, Kirovsky district, was recorded in the region.

In the Tverskoy microdistrict Elevator, as a result of repelling a drone attack, the administrative building of the logistics center caught fire. Firefighters of the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations completely eliminated the fire. There are no casualties among local residents or employees of the company.

On the night of July 24, Russian air defense systems destroyed 571 Ukrainian UAVs over the territories of 16 regions, including the Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory and Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
