Zelensky spoke about a meeting with manufacturers of missiles for Patriot
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with representatives of the Raytheon defense company, which produces missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. He announced this on July 23.
"I had a meeting with the Raytheon company team led by Vice President Joseph Deantona. Raytheon is a very strong defense company, Ukraine has been using its equipment for a long time," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
Zelensky thanked the company for its readiness for a higher level of cooperation. He also noted that the work will proceed in accordance with the agreements reached with US President Donald Trump.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on July 14 that Warsaw would not yet supply Kiev with additional missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
On July 6, the Minister of National Defense of the Republic, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, said that Poland had significantly reduced the volume of supplies of military equipment and weapons to Ukraine, as it had exhausted the resources available for transfer. He added that the total cost of these supplies in the period from 2024 to 2026 is about 1.55 billion zlotys ($412 million).
