The world's first space mini-shuttle was created in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

Unique developments for space have been created in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his Maks channel. Among them is the world's first mini—shuttle, which is capable of independently returning materials and results of scientific experiments from orbit to Earth.

The main feature of the device is that it does not burn up when entering the atmosphere, the mayor noted. Thanks to this, the mini-shuttle delivers cargo safely to Earth, and it can be launched not only from stations, but also from small satellites.

In addition, Technopolis Moscow has manufactured the world's first quantum sensor for detecting the smallest particles consisting of just a few atoms. With its help, scientists will study the processes of cosmic dust formation. The sensor will also create new ways to protect satellites and manned spacecraft from the effects of microparticles.

Both developments expand the possibilities of space research, Sobyanin stressed. "They will help to get more information about space and improve the safety of future missions," wrote the mayor of Moscow. He noted that the inventions have already passed the first stage of patent registration.

The mayor called the Technopolis Moscow Special economic zone the flagship of the capital's high-tech industry. "Advanced solutions for a wide variety of industries are being created here, thereby shaping the technological future of our country," stressed the head of the capital.
