An Akita Inu dog that bit her seven-year-old grandson in a village near Moscow was trained to attack people. This was announced by writer Daria Dontsova to Izvestia on July 22.

"The dog was brought up this way, so angry specifically so that it would attack people. The owner of this dog is to blame for this situation," she said.

According to Dontsova, on the day of the incident, her grandson was playing at the gate of his house — at that moment, a local resident passing by let the dog off the leash.

"Another man was walking by, who drove this dog away, grabbed Sasha and brought him home," the writer added.

In turn, in a conversation with Izvestia, the dog's owner, Alexei, explained that he had met the boy near the forest — according to him, he was riding an ATV with his comrades. A seven-year-old child separated from the group and ran up to the dog, which knocked him to the ground. The man assured that he had dragged the dog away, tied him to a pole and rushed to help the victim, who was soon taken away by his parents.

On the same day, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee announced the initiation of a criminal case into the attack of an Akita Inu dog on Dontsova's seven-year-old grandson, who was playing at the gate of his house in the village of Dubtsy, Moscow region. At the moment when the animal began to injure the child, her owner was inactive and, as Dontsova clarifies, even smiled.
