An inspection has been organized in the Nizhny Novgorod region after a television report on the abuse of a girl by teenagers, the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region reported on July 21.

Earlier that day, the local TV channel "Network NN" published a story about how teenagers from 10 to 14 years old sexually abused a 12‑year-old girl in one of the villages of the Lukyanovo district. The victim recorded the incident on a dictaphone.

"On this fact, an investigator from the Shatkovsky interdistrict investigative Department of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod Region has organized a procedural check," a statement on the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said.

Now the investigators are investigating all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the audit.
