Russia shares the concerns of its partners about the implementation of the AUKUS trilateral defense alliance, which includes Britain, the United States and Australia. This was stated on July 22 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, answering a question from Izvestia at a press conference following the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

"Our colleagues, and it was mentioned in bilateral contacts, they are, of course, concerned that this project is being implemented with very conditional compliance. <...> We share this concern," he said.
